She studied jewellery design at HEAD, Geneva's University of Art and Design, and spent years managing art exhibitions before building a knitwear label made entirely by Syrian refugees, staged in pop-ups across Geneva, London, and Doha. She has since worked as a freelance design lead for international jewellery brands — and, alongside that work, built her own line: Misha.
Misha is jewellery made to be held, not just worn.
Maya works between Doha and Switzerland, designing Misha, leading collections for other brands, and taking select commissions by request.
